[a Slice of Anxiety: Raining Late.]

There's legitimately so much charm in the style you decided to go with

I legitimately really like how everything moves and the amount of expression the character have, and how some of these scenes are shot, like in the rain scene where you just cut to a water hose showering on the drawing is legitimately pretty good

My only real criticisms is that I feel like certain scenes could be a little faster, and I feel like it ended too soon?
I legitimately thought that there was going to be more after she starts catching on fire, but then it just ended and I felt like it was a setup for something that never happened, if that makes any sense

Still, I think this is pretty great, and you got something really strong going on right here
I can't wait to see what else you have in store for the future.

In regards to the pacing and underwhelming conclusion, you're feelings are completely understandable and correct.

I had originally planned for the video to be much longer -- about double the length.
The main character (Lemon Cake) would've made it to school on time, but as a result of her soggy situation, she'd begin to feel flustered at the thought of standing out -- further adding payoff to the downpour as well as developing the theme of anxiety.

Unfortunately, I got a bit overly ambitious for my first cartoon and, mainly due to time constraints, had to reduce what I'd produce.

However, for any future Slice's of Anxiety, I'll likely actually continue to make them short in length as I feel the duration better fits what I'm going for.
And because of this, I'll make sure to keep in mind the shorter nature of them during the writing process, hopefully resulting in a much more solid pace / narrative.

The thumbnail along with the title legitimately made me think it would be something else, and even though I don't get the joke, I legitimately like the animation

[Work Break : Foamy The Squirrel]

Honestly, this episode probably encapsulates everything I hate about this stupid fucking squirrel

I get that it's supposed to be meanspirited, that he's "haha i dont care about ur feelings funny XD", but just because it's intentional, doesn't mean it's good, nor funny
What's the joke? Oh! Foamy is being a dick with woman (which tbh is kinda based), she's depressed and he's an ass! laugh!
There is a right way to do meanspirited humor, but this is not the way, and no, I'm not saying you can't play around with depression or whatever else

You'd think that maybe this stupid fucking squirrel would stop being an edgy nightmare for a second and maybe try not to be insufferable for once in his fucking life, but no, he's still being insufferable, because apparently just spewing insults like a toddler is comedy
It would have been so much better if you just changed the pace, even for a single episode, and Foamy wasn't being insufferable and actually a character I actually want to see and listen to, and when the whole point of your character is to spew funny and opinions, and what he's saying is not funny, and his opinions are absolute trash, you're doing something very wrong.
No need to make him a saint/clean either, but balance things out.

And about the animation and the artstyle, and this might just be me, but I feel like it somehow have gotten worse through the years?
Back in the day it wasn't anything spetacular, but I think the artstyle at least had a charm to it, it was very rough, and it was "disgusting" in a good way, but now things feel a little bit too clean, like the characters are shaped like dolls, and even the backgrounds themselves feel incredibly bland in comparision to some of the older animations (this one is obviously a bad example, since it's an empty cinema, there isn't much you can do with it)
and not only that, the way these characters are animated feels incredibly unnatural, and that's mostly because there's an exaggerated amount of squash and stretch in them, not only it overshots, but it happens so frequently that you might aswell give these characters parkinson while we're at it, and you're probably doing this so you can cut some corners in the animation, but it doesn't look good, at all, either learn how to do squash and stretch, or try something else for the animation

And yeah, I know you're a single guy doing everything pretty much, aside from the voices for Germaine, and I can honestly respect that, the fact you're still around even after so many years, is already very respectable on itself, but through all of these years watching your animations, there was barely any improvements at all, in fact, you've went backwards in some of these aspects, so please, even if it takes longer for you to release your animations, try to take some more time in your animations, maybe try and improve your scripts if not the animation itself, because as it is right now, it's not even "so bad it's good" funny, it's just painfully unfunny

Also there was no funny Morbius references and since they were in the cinema you missed a huge opportunity there, and this sole reason is why I took all of the 5 stars away, sorry pal.

i love game chumps please make more game rumps animation related animations this one was so fun i was giggling and loling really hard through the whole thing man but the only criticism i have on your animation is that there is a woman on it and she is abusive which I dont like because abuse is not cool and so isn't women but I specially dont like women abusing others ok so please take this criticism to heart so you dont repeat the same mistake in castlevania 7 so im giving it 3 stars but overall this is so fucking cool man i can't believe game grumps are making a comeback in the 21st century

[BANK ROBBERY BUT ITS WORMS]

As an avid Worms fan ever since the best Worms game ever made (Worms Armageddon) I've been looking into an animation that REALLY made me feel like a Worm (from the Worms series of games) and when I stumbled upon this animation, I was rather equivocated with the idea of a story with Worms characters, although my expectations were rather limited since I didn't think anyone could write a story with strong emotional beats with the Worms series since they're not conventional characters like in most media, but once I sat down to watch this animation, my expectations not only were completely blown away (like if someone threw me a holy hand grenade (from the Worms games)) but it also left me floored on how incredible you manage to capture the essence of the Worms so perfectly

The team is so well explored, there's so many characters, all of them with unique personalities and struggles, but you can definitely feel like they complete each other over their chemistry, like how the leader guy is keeping the composure of the new guy, and is courageous and selfless to sacrifice himself so his teammates can escape, even if he can't himself, or how the shotgun guy is clearly struggling with the idea of his career being over and people not remembering him after he is gone, at first you feel like the shotgun Worm is going to be unlikeable due to how much of a dickhead he is, but after you get the chance to know the character, EVERYTHING falls into place, and you simply just fall back into your chair, shocked, on how someone could make such a masterclass in storytelling (with Worms)

And the voice acting, REALLY made me feel like a Worm
I don't know if you got the original guys who voiced the Worms to reprise their roles for this singular animation, or if you're just a genius in voice acting, because the voicelines are simply too good and feel like they came straight up out of one of their games, and at no moment, my immersion was broken, not only because of the voice and the delivery, but also due to the fact the dialogue and how it feels so real is honestly stunning, tarantino is crying in his bathroom right now wishing he could write something on this level

And the animation is also pretty fucking awesome, really
The way you drew the Worms feels incredibly authentic and expressive, with tons of references to the games and the original animations, really makes this a delightful experience to watch, but I also like how you added some real gore to add to the realistic factor of a bank robbery (with Worms) which is a detail I really appreciate, although I really wish you could have animated more people into the banks and maybe that I could have seen more gory deaths, that would be really cool too, and I feel like the scenarios need more plants, since banks have plants in them and I have only seen one plant in the entire animation, which left me a little bit dissapointed, but the rest of the animation DEFINITELY makes up for the lack of plants

One of my last criticisms, is that it needs ROMANCE
if you added a scene where the Worms kissed and maybe practiced Worm Fornication it would have REALLY tickled a lot of vaginas out there, and it would also add to the gritty realism which is the life of robbery, because in order to feed your family and your loved ones when you're a robber, you NEED to make sacrifices, and it would have added to the realism, if we saw a more romantic approach to their lifes whenever they're not robbing

Either way, this animation is ok

[LIV - H O O K E D]

I've been looking at the progress closely in twitter as you were posting sneak-peeks here and there, and I was really looking forward to the full thing, and holy shit, this is somehow better than my expectations thought it would be, and they were pretty fucking high too

First of all; the animation is fucking splendid
From the expressions, to the movement, the way the camera and the angles changes and how quick they change gives this such a chaotic aura, and I fucking love it
And the way how characters are expressive, both in body language and how they move around, and the faces they make is absolutely top notch, some of the best I've seen in a good while

And man, the people voicing these characters, specially Liv, did such a fantastic job in bringing these characters to live, they not only fit these characters perfectly, but the emotion behind their acting really puts the "acting" in "voice acting"

Lastly; I absolutely adore the personality in this and the background work
I legitimately adore Liv's personality, and I really dig her new design aswell, it's one of the most interesting characters I've seen recently, and I really hope to see more of her, definitely
And the backgrounds are honestly so fucking good, there's never a boring scenario in any of the scenes, and the way you decide to light scenes aswell depending on the mood is another thing that deserves props

This is honestly incredible, there's no other way to put it
The fact I'm watching this for free almost makes me feel dirty

You're one of my new favorite animators out there, and I legitimately cannot wait to see not only this new universe getting fleshed out, but to see more from you in general

Congratulations on getting this finished, the work definitely paid off, pal.

(PS: I forgot to add, the music in this is pretty fucking great too)
